DFW Combat Hosts a KMA Force Training Class
If you were around the Design District gym last week you may have noticed some extra taser-y training going on and some unfamiliar faces at the gym. From Thursday through Sunday last week Coach Ronnie and I ran an instructor certification for KMA Force, which is the military and law enforcement division of the Krav Maga Alliance.
During the course of this training students learned how to design training programs specifically for officers, arrest and control techniques, weapons defenses, and more; with the idea that they would bring this training back to their respective gyms/agencies and train some officers themselves. This was a great group and we're looking forward to doing many, many more of these! Special shout out to Coach Elizabeth for undergoing the training and taking the pepper spray exposure like a champ.

We just added the Krav Maga Alliance tee, brought back the Walk in Peace tee, and added some branded athletic shorts for you. These items will print and ship directly to your house, so order yours today to get it as soon as possible. We're also constantly adding/changing designs so check back often!
Don't Lose Track of Your Rewards!
Most of you are probably already aware that our members have a rewards program, where you can earn points for all kinds of things like
attending class (100 points)
posting a review on social media (50 points)
having a birthday (500 points)
referring a friend for a trial (100 points)
referring a friend that signs up for a membership (1000 points)
Those points are redeemable for prizes like pro shop credit, special shirts or gear, and more. For example, our Addicted to Combat shirt can only be earned by attending 100 classes in a year:
But did you know a lot of you are leaving those points on the table?
A lot of you are showing points totals that don't reflect what you've earned! Sometimes that's because we didn't know you referred someone or that you weren't checked in to class. Make sure your instructors are checking you in, and get those points racked up!
Competition is heating up!
